5.  The East End Historical District Association requests the following donation for use of our Parks (Darragh or Alderdice) to help the EEHDA maintain them: ½ day usage - $200, full day usage - $400. It is requested that the donation be paid at the time the agreement is signed; EEHDA will not commit to reserve your time slot until the donation is received. 

Donation can be made utilizing the “Make a Donation” link on the EEHDA website - https://www.eastendhistoricaldistrict.org/about-the-east-end#MakeaDonation, or by mail to EEHDA, P.O. Box 2424, Galveston, TX 77553. Please indicate the date of your event and the name of the responsible person in the “Write a note” section on the website or on your check so we can properly track and credit your donation. Your donation is tax deductible. 

6.  If the Cottage is to be used, there will be a $50 cleaning fee, and a $50 charge for a lost key. 

7. User is responsible for leaving any facilities they use in the same condition they found them in and removing all trash to the alley dumpster.

8. User is responsible for managing any deliveries or pick-ups by caterers or vendors prior to and after their event.

9.  Please be mindful that you are in a residential area with very limited parking available, so please encourage your guests to carpool if possible and/or find other means to minimize the amount of vehicles/traffic. 

10. User confirms that it has inspected the facility, deems it suitable for its intended use, and accepts facility “as is, where is”. User hereby releases and agrees to indemnify, protect and hold harmless the East End Historical District Association, it’s agents, associates and volunteers, from and against any and all claims, demands and causes of actions of every kind and character, including, but not limited to those related to any injuries or loss of or damage to property of User, it’s guests, invitees and vendors, arising from utilization of any East End Historical  District Association facility whether or not User, it’s guests, invitees or vendors present at the facility  incur injuries or damages as the result of any alleged negligence or gross negligence of the EEHDA or as the result of any premises condition, whether known or unknown by the EEHDA.

11. User is responsible for following all applicable regulations, ordinances, codes, and other governing laws, including, but not limited to, the City and County of Galveston. 

12. User agrees to follow all relevant and current COVID risk reduction guidelines, including, but not limited to those by the CDC and the City and County of Galveston.
